1、 Overview of piezoelectric ceramic fuel injectors
Piezoelectric ceramic fuel injector is a new type of electrically controlled fuel injector made of ceramic material. It has the characteristics of high precision, high speed, and high reliability, and is widely used in fields such as automobiles, locomotives, airplanes, and ships.
2、 Working principle
The working principle of piezoelectric ceramic fuel injectors is based on the piezoelectric effect. When an external electric field is applied, piezoelectric ceramics undergo deformation, which can be applied to fuel injectors to change the size of the nozzle holes, thereby controlling the amount and angle of fuel sprayed.
During normal operation, the electronic control system outputs control signals to the piezoelectric ceramic of the fuel injector, stimulating its deformation. When the fuel inside the nozzle is subjected to pressure, it will be sprayed out. According to the change in the control signal of the fuel injector, the amount and angle of fuel injection will also change accordingly.
3、 Advantages
Compared to traditional mechanical fuel injectors, piezoelectric ceramic fuel injectors have the following advantages:
1. High precision: Due to the use of electronic control technology, more accurate fuel injection control can be achieved;
2. High speed: The fuel injection response time is fast, which can meet the fuel injection requirements of high-speed engines;
3. High reliability: Made of high-strength ceramic materials, it has high stability and reliability;
4. Low noise: During the fuel injection process, the noise is relatively low, ensuring ride comfort.
4、 Application
Piezoelectric ceramic fuel injectors have been widely used in engine fuel injection systems in fields such as automobiles, locomotives, airplanes, and ships, and have broad application prospects. In addition, it can also be applied to high-precision liquid jet control in industries such as chemical and pharmaceutical.
