Professor Dong Shuxiang, a tenured professor at Peking University; Professor, doctoral supervisor, and specially appointed researcher at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Peking University. Part time professor at Virginia Tech School of Engineering in the United States. After obtaining a PhD in Materials Science from Tsinghua University in 1993, he stayed at Tsinghua University to work and served as a lecturer and associate professor in the Department of Materials Science; From 1997 to 1999, Dong Shuxiang visited the National University of Singapore; From 2000 to 2008, he was successively employed as an associate researcher, research scientist, and research professor at the University of Pennsylvania and Virginia Tech in the United States. From May 2008 to March 2021, I returned to China from Virginia Tech University in the United States and was employed as a specially appointed researcher and professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Peking University School of Engineering, as well as a tenured professor at Peking University. I am a specially appointed professor and doctoral supervisor at the Higher Research Institute of Shenzhen University. Professor Dong Shuxiang has been engaged in the research of piezoelectric, ferroelectric, magneto electric functional materials and devices for a long time out of interest, as well as recent developments in 3D printing and flexible electronics, piezoelectric metamaterials, and nano piezoelectric motors. Has 4 US invention patents and 19 Chinese invention patents, received the Excellent Paper Award from the Chinese Power Ultrasonic Society in 1992, the First Prize for Materials Science Progress from the University of Pennsylvania in 2000, and the Second Prize for Excellent Scientific and Technological Paper from Beijing in 1994.

On August 1, 2024, Professor Dong visited Guizhou Wanhe Precision Electronics Co., Ltd. to visit the factory equipment and provide work guidance, and inspected the operation status of the company's equipment one by one. And proposed targeted plans for the company's development direction. At the same time, after Professor Dong visited the factory equipment, the company received unanimous praise from Professor Dong for equipment operation, safety management, and personnel workflow. Before leaving, Professor Dong stated that Wanhe Precision Company's current industry in Guizhou is a rising star, and in the future development of the industry, he hopes that Wanhe Precision can do better than it is now.
